Former President Donald Trump is now a convicted crimina.

Former President Donald Trump, now a convicted criminal, faces a historic challenge as he prepares for the upcoming presidential election.

His rival, President Joe Biden, has quickly seized the opportunity to use Trump’s legal troubles to bolster his own re-election campaign.

Political Fallout

In a historic ruling that has captured the nation and newspaper headlines worldwide, Trump has been found guilty on all 34 counts in the hush money trial related to payments made to a porn actress.

This conviction marks the first time a former US president has been convicted of a crime, casting a shadow over his campaign as the Republican presidential candidate.

Despite this, Trump remains a contender, set to run against Biden in the November election.

Biden’s Response

Seizing the moment, President Biden took to his private X account to turn Trump’s legal defeat into a rallying cry for his supporters.

“There is only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: at the ballot box,” Biden wrote. “Donate to our campaign today.”

“The threat Trump poses to our democracy has never been greater than it is today,” Biden’s campaign warned in a statement released after the verdict.

The trial in New York had shown that no one is above the law.

Biden’s team also claimed that a second term for Trump would mean “chaos.”

The White House simply stated that they respect the rule of law and had no further comment.
