Shocking remarks from Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made some astonishing and unfair comments about Poland, according to Marcin Przydacz, the head of the Presidential Office for International Policy.

Przydacz was responding to Zelensky’s speech at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Zelensky criticized some European countries, implying Poland, for their lack of genuine solidarity, particularly in the context of grain exports.

Przydacz found Zelensky’s words both astonishing and unjust. He emphasized that Poland has played a crucial role in supporting Ukraine over the past several months.

“Ukraine is essentially pushing away the hands that help it,” Przydacz noted according to wgospodarce.pl.

When asked whether Poland should react diplomatically or take other actions, Przydacz responded, “Poland should primarily pursue its own interests.

We have supported Ukraine in our broader security interests. The further the Russian army is from the Polish border, the better.”

Przydacz also pointed out that the transit of Ukrainian grain through Polish territory is entirely possible but doesn’t solve the entire problem due to the large volume of grain and the logistical capabilities of the Polish border.

“Ukrainian authorities should remember that this transit works both ways. Most goods, including those most needed by Ukraine today, pass through Polish territory,” he added.
