Costco recalls eight salsa products over contamination fears—check your fridge for affected items.

Costco has issued a recall for eight types of salsa sold under the San Juan Salsa Co. brand, citing potential contamination in the cilantro used in the products, the company said in a letter to members.
The recalled salsas were sold at select Costco locations in the U.S. Northwest between December 19, 2024, and March 17, 2025.
The products may contain wood fragments as a result of the cilantro contamination.

Costco has advised customers to check their refrigerators and either discard the affected products or return them to a local store for a refund.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with the recall.
However, consumers who experience symptoms after consuming the product are encouraged to contact a healthcare provider.
