At least 17 individuals tragically lost their lives, and around 30 others were injured following a missile attack in a market located in the city of Kostantínovka, situated in eastern Ukraine. This devastating news was confirmed by the Ukrainian authorities.
Ukraine’s President, Volodímir Zelenski, expressed his deep concern over the incident, hinting that the death toll might rise. He took to Telegram to share his anguish, describing the scene: “A regular market. Shops. A pharmacy. Innocent people. Many injured.”
The Ukrainian Prime Minister, Denís Shmihal, revealed that among the deceased was a child. The Ministry of Interior further reported that at least 32 individuals sustained injuries. They also confirmed that the search and rescue operations had concluded.
