Kenneth Branagh, renowned for his portrayal of Agatha Christie’s iconic detective Hercule Poirot, is back in action with a new film titled “A Haunting In Venice.” This time, the atmosphere is more eerie than ever, as Poirot delves into a mystery that borders on the supernatural.

The story picks up after the events of “Murder On The Orient Express” and “Death On The Nile,” both of which saw Branagh in the director’s chair as well as playing the lead role. In this third installment, the plot revolves around a suspicious seance act managed by Michelle Yeoh’s character, Joyce Reynolds. Tina Fey’s Ariadne Oliver seeks Poirot’s expertise when things take a dark turn during one of these seances, leading to an unexpected death. As Poirot investigates, he is forced to confront the possibility of supernatural forces at play, challenging his staunch belief in rational explanations.
