When the mercury rises, there's nothing quite like the refreshing feel of cold water to beat the heat. This sentiment isn't exclusive to humans; our four-legged companions also struggle with the scorching temperatures. And what could be more fitting than a pet pool to provide some relief?
With immense love for her pet, an American woman decided to help her Golden Retriever, Turbo, cool down during the heatwave.
She purchased a pet pool from Lidl, a popular supermarket chain. However, when she unpacked the product, the dog owner couldn't help but burst into laughter.
Turbo's family wanted to offer him some respite from the intense heat. Spotting a pet pool on sale at Lidl for just 13 dollars, they were convinced it was a must-have. The packaging displayed a border collie, a medium-sized dog, comfortably seated in a filled swimming pool with ample space.
However, upon inflating the pool, the family was taken aback by its size. It turned out to be a miniature version of what was advertised. Turbo could barely dip his hind paws into the water. "I apparently didn't pay close attention to the dimensions," the mother remarked, adding, "Sorry, Turbo!"
The amusing blunder has since garnered significant attention, with the video being viewed over 5 million times on the social media platform, TikTok. Turbo's calm demeanor, despite the pool's size, has been a highlight for many viewers. He sits gracefully in the pool, appearing content. One user commented, "Turbo doesn't seem bothered by it at all."
Nevertheless, the compassionate dog owner has since procured a proper pool for her furry friend. In a subsequent video, she showcased the patient canine fully immersing himself in the water.
