A Golden Retriever named Loki from Melbourne, Australia, has captured hearts with his adorable response to a scolding from his owner.
Loki was caught jumping wildly on his owner's grandparents, which led to a bit of trouble. A TikTok video capturing Loki's reaction has been viewed over 18 million times.
In the video, Loki looks deeply sad, sitting in front of his owner with his head bowed, almost as if he's too ashamed to lift it again. The video is set to somber music, adding to the emotional impact.
The video has melted the hearts of TikTok users, garnering 3.5 million likes and nearly 6,000 mostly sympathetic comments since it was posted on May 8th.
In an interview with Newsweek, Loki's owner, Nina Theeuwes, explained the situation.
"Because he's still so young, we're constantly trying to train him, and jumping is one of the things he absolutely shouldn't do," she said.
"When we have guests over, we tell them to ignore Loki as much as possible. But that often results in them talking to him anyway. We can't blame them. After all, who can ignore such a cute boy?"
