A charming Chihuahua named Pumba has captured hearts across TikTok with his unique approach to sibling barking.

Rescued Seven Years Ago

While his fellow Chihuahuas, Pablo and others, enthusiastically barked, Pumba opted for the "home office" method, remaining cozy in his bed.

Pumba and his brother Pablo were rescued about seven years ago by John Zav in Toronto, who runs Ruff Riders Animal Transport, an organization dedicated to saving and rehoming animals.

John believes that every dog saved encourages him to rescue more. "One day, someone asked if I could foster the two pups, and the rest is history," he shared. What began as a temporary arrangement blossomed into a permanent home.

Participating in Some Way

Pumba has become an internet star, thanks in part to his stark contrast with his more energetic siblings.

In one viral TikTok clip on the channel "theninjadoodle," viewers see Pablo and other dogs barking away, while Pumba remains unfazed in his cozy spot. John humorously summed up the scene in his caption of the video: "When it's time to bark, but you're cozy."

The audience quickly embraced the humor in Pumba's antics. Comments flooded in, with one user quipping:

"I’m just making sure I’m participating in some way."

while another praised Pumba for his "zero percent effort and 100 percent efficiency."

Someone even likened his demeanor to "working from home."

Pumba, who loves taking walks, enjoying treats, and snuggling in his bed or on the couch, is a big fan of napping.

At eight years old, he balances playtime with plenty of rest, often snuggling under blankets or in his favorite little dog bed. His laid-back personality continues to entertain and delight fans online.
