During a safari in Ranthambore National Park, India, a group of tourists experienced a nerve-wracking and unforgettable close encounter with a tiger.

The incident was captured on video and sparked considerable debate on social media.

The video shared on the park's Instagram page shows the majestic tiger slowly approaching the tourists' vehicle, causing the group to react with screams and shouts.

"A once in a lifetime experience for us was to see this majestic animal so close. We were scared, but T121 is a playful animal. He came close to us twice, displayed his splendor, and then retreated. We will cherish this memory for the rest of our lives," reads the caption on Instagram.

In the video, recorded from inside the safari vehicle, you can clearly see the tiger approaching the car until it stands right next to it.

A man in the car shouts to the driver saying "He's right behind us." Others in the car also ask the driver to move away from the tiger.

Since the video was shared a few months ago, it has received nearly 2.2 million views and numerous comments from users.

Many people have been fascinated by the video, but there is also a lot of criticism. Several believe that the people who shout and scream at the tiger should have been fined, while others pray that nothing went wrong when nature is allowed to come VERY close.
