A Mercedes with high mileage is not unusual.

Trending Now

High-mileage Mercedes owners in the United States have a unique opportunity to celebrate their vehicle's endurance.

According to the auto magazine Boosted, the U.S. Mercedes-Benz division has introduced a special mileage badge, exclusively for American drivers who have clocked major distances in their Mercedes cars.

With milestones of 250,000, 500,000, 750,000 kilometers, and even 1 million kilometers (or miles), these badges highlight not just the brand’s durability but also customer loyalty.

How It Works

Owners can download the application from Mercedes’ official website, filling in details about themselves and their vehicle’s mileage milestone. You can also find the application form here.

After the form is completed, a Mercedes dealer verifies it.

Upon approval, drivers receive a certificate, letter, and, most importantly, the prized emblem.

The badge is mounted on the vehicle’s grille, announcing to everyone that this Mercedes has achieved an impressive milestone.

Unfortunately, these awards are only available to U.S. customers—European Mercedes owners looking for recognition must seek out similar “High Mileage Awards” through online marketplaces like eBay, often priced between €150 and €300.

High-mileage emblems are available online for purchase, but they come at a price.
