When Donald Trump takes office as president in January 2025, he’ll be chauffeured in an armored limousine known as "The Beast."
Custom-Designed Cadillac
This custom-designed Cadillac, which cost around $15 million, is built to provide advanced security while transporting the president.
Based on the GMC TopKick platform used for heavy-duty trucks, the new model features some standard luxury options seen in high-end Cadillacs, such as armored headlights and handles, according to Boosted.
Its hefty price tag mainly comes from its extensive security upgrades, making it one of the world’s most secure vehicles.
With a 6.2-liter V8 engine, the vehicle combines power with state-of-the-art protections. The body is heavily armored, and its bulletproof glass and tires are designed to withstand extreme threats.
Security features are central to “The Beast.” Outfitted with night vision, bulletproof tires, and onboard weaponry, the car can also shield its passengers from chemical attacks with a sealed cabin and independent oxygen supply.
According to reports, the limousine is even equipped with blood bags matching the president’s blood type for emergencies. These upgrades bring the vehicle’s weight to between 15,000 and 20,000 pounds.
Despite having access to such an impressive vehicle, Trump won’t be behind the wheel.
Presidents are always driven by specially trained Secret Service agents, which could be a shift for Trump, who is known for his collection of luxury cars, including models like a Lamborghini Diablo and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
