Detectives are investigating a tragic triple murder that occurred in Bushey, near London, on the evening of Tuesday, July 9.
According to a press release from the Hertfordshire Constabulary, police were called to a property on Ashlyn Close just before 7 PM yesterday.
Upon arrival, officers, alongside the East of England Ambulance Service, found three women with severe injuries. Despite their best efforts, the women, who are believed to be related, died at the scene.
Suspect Search
The police are actively searching for a 26-year-old man from the Enfield area in connection with the incident.
Detective Superintendent Rob Hall from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit urged the public to respect the victims' family's privacy during this difficult time.
“We are in the early stages of this investigation, but we are actively seeking Kyle Clifford, who we believe could be in Hertfordshire or North London,” said Detective Superintendent Hall.
He asked anyone who knows Clifford's whereabouts to contact the police immediately.
“If you see him, do not approach him and dial 999 straight away. He may still be in possession of a weapon.”
Public Assistance
The police are also appealing to anyone who was in the Ashlyn Close area from lunchtime on Tuesday until 7 PM and might have seen anything helpful to the investigation to come forward.
“Our inquiries will continue to ascertain the full circumstances of what happened,” added Detective Superintendent Hall.
Acknowledging the community's concern, Detective Superintendent Hall reassured residents that officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team would be present in the area. He encouraged locals to speak to them if they needed any assistance or had any information.
