Bruce Willis has been a well-known figure in Hollywood for decades.

His career spans action films, dramas, and comedies that made him one of the most recognizable actors in the world. From Die Hard to The Sixth Sense, he built a reputation as a versatile and charismatic performer.

Over the years, he became a fan favorite, known for his tough-guy roles and signature style.

In 2022, he stepped away from acting due to health concerns. Since then, updates about his condition have come mainly from his family.

First Appearance

In a video posted on Instagram by his wife, Emma Heming Willis, the 69-year-old actor was seen meeting with police officers involved in firefighting efforts in Los Angeles.

He shook hands with them in appreciation for their service, according to Digi24.

"Seeing a paramedic, Bruce never missed an opportunity to show his gratitude with a firm handshake and a ‘thank you for your service.’ Yesterday was no different," Emma Heming Willis wrote.

According to People, this was Willis’ first public appearance since his dementia diagnosis in 2023.

Willis married Emma Heming in 2009, and they have two daughters, born in 2012 and 2014. He was previously married to actress Demi Moore from 1987 to 2000. Together, they have three daughters.

Demi Moore announced Willis’ retirement from acting in 2022.

At that time, he had been diagnosed with aphasia, a language disorder caused by brain damage. The diagnosis was later updated to frontotemporal dementia in 2023.

Since stepping away from acting, Willis has stayed out of the public eye. His family has provided updates on social media, sharing moments from his life.
