The lineup for the upcoming Great Celebrity Bake Off has been unveiled, and with it, a new face on the judging panel.

Who’s Taking Over from Prue Leith?

Although Prue Leith is staying on as a judge for the main series of The Great British Bake Off, she announced last year that she would be stepping back from the celebrity specials due to the demanding filming schedule.

“I absolutely love working on Bake Off and am looking forward to filming the next series and meeting our new bakers,” she said in April, as cited by the Huffington Post. “I am only stepping back from the Celebrity series, which is just a question of the filming commitment involved as we make these shows back to back.”

Now, it has been confirmed that Caroline Waldegrave will be stepping in to judge alongside Paul Hollywood.

Caroline is the managing director of Leith’s School of Food and Wine, the culinary institution founded by Prue Leith in 1975. She has also co-written several cookbooks associated with the brand.
