Most of us hate ironing clothes, and now you can completely avoid it.
Even the most beautiful outfit doesn't look right if it's full of wrinkles.
Instead of wasting time ironing, here's a homemade wrinkle spray that a cleaning enthusiast claims 'magically smooths out folds'.
This is reported by DenOffentlige.
One of the best ways to get rid of wrinkled clothes without an iron is to prevent them from happening in the first place, but sometimes this cannot be helped.
A Freshly Ironed Look
Wrinkles can become a problem when clothes have been stored for a while, or if they have been laid incorrectly after washing.
Perhaps they have been folded under other items or have been stored away for the season.
Fortunately, there is an effective way to achieve that freshly ironed look without having to pull out the ironing board and iron to get the job done.
On her TikTok page @alifebetterorganised, a professional organizing and cleaning hack enthusiast shared how to remove wrinkles from clothes with a homemade spray.
The Magic Ingredient
Debbie wrote in the video's subtitle:
'Get ready to save this because you'll never have to iron out wrinkles again.'
While wrinkle-releasing spray can be purchased from a number of supermarkets, it's cheaper to make your own - plus, it's easy.
The organizing pro shared the ingredient list for 'homemade wrinkle spray', which consists of a cup of water, a half tablespoon of white vinegar, and a half teaspoon of hair conditioner - this is the 'magic ingredient'.
To explain how it works, Debbie said:
'The conditioner relaxes the fibers in the clothes, so wrinkles can magically be smoothed out and disappear.'
How to Do It
The first step is to combine all the above-mentioned ingredients in a spray bottle and give it a shake.
It's important to shake the solution, as the conditioner tends to separate.
Then hang up the clothing and mist it with a light fog all over.
Next, simply pull on the fabric and smooth out wrinkles. Let the clothes air dry, and when they are dried, all the wrinkles will be gone.
Debbie demonstrated how to use the spray, misting it over a heavily wrinkled top. After letting it dry, there were no folds left on the top, and it left no stains."
