Move over, Aperol.

There’s a new sunny cocktail in town, and it’s set to take over patios, picnics, and spring soirées everywhere.

Meet the Orange Lillet Spritz—your fresh, elegant, and uncomplicated go-to drink for Spring 2025.

With just the right balance of floral Lillet, bubbly Prosecco, and a citrusy twist, this cocktail feels like golden hour in a glass.

Whether you're lounging outdoors or bringing a bit of sunshine to a rainy evening indoors, this spritz is pure seasonal magic.

This was inspired by an article in Freundin.

Orange Lillet Spritz

Ingredients (for 2 glasses):

  • 25 cl Lillet Blanc

  • 25 cl Prosecco

  • 25 cl mineral water

  • 1 organic orange or blood orange

  • Ice cubes

  • Optional: Fresh mint for garnish

How to Make It (In Under 5 Minutes)

  1. Chill everything: Lillet, Prosecco, and sparkling water should all be nicely cold.

  2. Prep the glasses: Use large wine glasses or spritz glasses.

  3. Slice the orange: Cut four thin slices and set aside.

  4. Assemble: Fill glasses with ice cubes and orange slices. Squeeze in a splash of juice from the orange for a zesty boost.

  5. Pour: Add equal parts (12.5 cl) of Lillet, mineral water, and Prosecco to each glass.

  6. Finish with flair: Garnish with fresh mint, and sip away.

Extra Tips for the Ultimate Spritz

Go big on ice: Large ice cubes melt slower and keep your spritz crisp, not watered down. Bonus style points for trendy round ice spheres.

Blood orange = bolder flavor: Swap the orange for a blood orange for a deeper, slightly berry-like twist.

If you’ve already tried every twist on Aperol and need something new, the Orange Lillet Spritz is refreshing without being too sweet, sophisticated without trying too hard—and looks amazing on your Insta story.

Cheers to spring!
