The Pearl Milling Company has issued a recall for its Original Pancake & Waffle Mix due to an undeclared milk allergen.

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has identified the affected product as 32-ounce boxes with the UPC code 30000 65040 and a best by date of September 13, 2025.

The recalled pancake mix was distributed to retailers in the following states:, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah, and Wisconsin.

If you have purchased the affected pancake mix:

  1. Check your pantry: Look for the UPC code and best by date to confirm if your product is part of the recall.

  2. Dispose of the product or return it to the retailer for a full refund.

  3. Avoid consumption: The undeclared milk poses a risk to individuals with dairy allergies.

Potential Health Risks

Milk allergies can trigger severe reactions, including:

  • Hives and swelling

  • Tightness in the throat

  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

While no allergic reactions have been reported, anyone experiencing these symptoms after consuming the recalled product should call 911 immediately.
