Melania Trump has often been a figure of intrigue, balancing her role as a public figure with a preference for privacy.

As First Lady, she maintained a distinct presence, often stepping away from political controversies while focusing on her personal initiatives.

Even after leaving the White House, she continues to navigate the spotlight on her own terms, carefully shaping her public image through selective projects and ventures.

Promoting Personal Brand

One of her latest endeavors is a documentary and docuseries about her life, which Amazon acquired for $40 million.

Directed by Brett Ratner, the film promises an exclusive look behind the scenes of Melania’s life, exploring her journey as a public figure and future First Lady.

Production began in December, and the project is expected to premiere later this year on Prime Video and in theaters.

Melania serves as an executive producer on the project, adding a personal touch to the narrative.

The deal, which also includes a two-to-three-episode docuseries, marks her latest effort to promote her personal brand.

Recently, she has released a memoir and launched a line of holiday decorations and jewelry, further solidifying her post-White House identity.

The choice of Ratner as director adds another layer of interest to the project.

Once a prominent filmmaker, Ratner stepped away from Hollywood in 2017 following allegations of sexual misconduct during the #MeToo movement.

While he denied the accusations and faced no criminal charges, the fallout sidelined his career. This documentary is his first major project since.

The deal also reflects a shifting dynamic between Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Melania’s husband, Donald Trump.

Once fierce critics, Bezos and Trump have seemingly softened their relationship, with Bezos recently donating $1 million to Trump’s inaugural fund.
