During a routine inspection on Sunday, Ukrainian authorities discovered a listening device in the new office of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi. This shocking discovery has raised serious concerns about security breaches within the Ukrainian military's top echelons.

Sources from Ukrainska Pravda in military circles confirmed that the surveillance equipment was detected as part of a standard security check before Zaluzhnyi's planned move to the new office. Further investigations revealed additional devices in the possessions of some of his staff members.

In response to this alarming find, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) released a statement. They clarified that the found technical device was inoperative and announced the initiation of criminal proceedings to investigate this potential breach of security.

This incident comes at a critical time for Ukraine, highlighting the ongoing challenges the country faces in ensuring the security and confidentiality of military operations and strategies. The discovery of such devices in the office of a high-ranking military official like Zaluzhnyi underscores the gravity of the situation and the need for increased vigilance.

As the investigation proceeds, the Ukrainian military and intelligence community are expected to tighten security measures to prevent any future incidents of this nature, ensuring the safety and integrity of Ukraine's defense strategies.
