Jasveen Sangha, a 41-year-old drug dealer known for catering to Hollywood's elite, has been arrested on serious charges that could lead to a life sentence.
The Queen of Ketamine
Her arrest comes in the wake of the tragic overdose of actor Matthew Perry, famous for his role in the TV series "Friends," who died from a ketamine overdose.
Sangha flaunted her luxurious lifestyle on social media, posting images of herself sipping drinks on private jets and vacationing in exotic locations like Japan and Mexico. However, authorities allege that her wealth stemmed not from legitimate business ventures but from her operations as a prominent drug dealer. '
Dubbed the "Queen of Ketamine," Sangha reportedly specialized in providing large quantities of prescription-only substances and methamphetamine to celebrities and the wealthy.
Seize Illegal Drugs
The investigation intensified after Perry’s death in October 2023, which raised red flags about the sources of the drugs he used. Following the actor's tragic passing, law enforcement raided Sangha's North Hollywood residence.
During the search, they seized a significant stash of illegal drugs, including nearly 4.4 pounds of orange tablets suspected to contain methamphetamine and 79 bottles of a clear liquid that tested positive for ketamine, along with various other suspicious substances.
This case could have far-reaching implications. Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani warned that if Sangha seeks a lighter sentence, she might start naming high-profile clients, which could put many Hollywood stars on edge.
“Anyone who has had any connection to Jasveen Sangha should be very worried,” Rahmani stated, emphasizing the potential for further revelations.
