A suspected China-linked operation has been workingto destabilize Spain according to recent reveal.

Posing as a human rights organization, the operation has been working to stir unrest in Spanish regions in attempt to influence the population.

The overall goal is likely to have been revolving around eventually overthrowing the government.

The operation has partly been focusing on the governments reactions, or lack thereof, regarding recent catastrophes, including the deadly floods in Valencia back in October last year.

Chinese Operations Work To Destabilizie Across Europe

The Chinese operation known as Spamouflage has recently been working to stir the Spanish population to action against the government.

Spamouflage poses as human rights organizations, including the Madrid-based organization Safeguard Defenders, in order to establish trust with the population.

They have been particularly active in certain regions, including Valencia, which was the victim of a major flood in October of last year, where hundreds of people died.

Political leaders, both locally and nationally, have been the target of much anger in the following periods, and this has been used by the Chinese operation to stir the population towards unrest.

It is speculated that the operation is meant to destabilize the Spanish government to the point of overthrowing, which could be beneficial to Chinese interests.

Operations like these are not uncommon across all of Europe, where there's a constant pressure from foreign powers.

Operations like Spamouflage work tirelessly to try and influence populations and governments towards certain goals.
