According to F1Planet, this conclusion allows Horner, 50, who has been pivotal in guiding the team since its formation in 2005, to proceed with his leadership duties unimpeded, especially as the team gears up for the season opener in Bahrain on March 2. This resolution comes after a period filled with speculation and tension regarding his position within the team.
A representative from Red Bull GmbH provided an official statement, announcing the closure of the investigation and the dismissal of the grievance against Horner.
The statement highlighted the opportunity for the complainant to appeal the decision and underlined the company's commitment to a fair, thorough, and unbiased investigation process. Due to the confidentiality of the investigation report, which includes sensitive information from involved parties, Red Bull refrained from further comments, reaffirming their dedication to maintaining high standards in the workplace.
The investigation was initiated by Red Bull GmbH in early February in response to allegations against Horner, catching him by surprise.
