Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, the world’s most famous YouTuber, is facing serious allegations from contestants of his upcoming reality show, "Beast Games."

Underfed adn Overworked

With over half a billion fans on YouTube and a multi-million dollar empire, MrBeast’s production company, MrB2024, and Amazon have been named in a lawsuit filed by five female contestants.

The lawsuit claims that the show has fostered an environment of misogyny and sexism, where participants experienced significant suffering.

Allegations include claims that contestants were underfed and overworked, with meals provided sporadically. One contestant reportedly required hospitalization after going more than 20 hours without food, according to Digi24.

Multiple Hospitalizations

The New York Times previously reported that multiple hospitalizations occurred on set, highlighting serious concerns about the welfare of contestants. Participants also noted delays in receiving necessary medications. Despite the gravity of these accusations, MrBeast has yet to publicly comment on the lawsuit.

This controversy adds to a tumultuous year for MrBeast, who faced scrutiny in July when he hired investigators following allegations against his former co-host, Ava Kris Tyson, regarding her treatment of a minor. Tyson denied the allegations but later apologized for her past behavior.

While MrBeast is known for his philanthropic efforts, such as building wells in Africa and funding surgeries for the visually and hearing impaired, these initiatives have drawn criticism as well. Critics argue that some projects come off as exploitative, overshadowing his charitable intentions.
