Throughout history, books have been banned, censored, or classified for many reasons.
Some challenged political systems, while others contained ideas considered too radical.
In some cases, books were hidden from the public because they made controversial scientific or historical claims.
When a book remains secret for decades, it raises questions about why it was restricted in the first place.
A Catastrophic Event
One such book, The Story of Adam and Eve, was written in 1966 by Chan Thomas, a former U.S. Air Force employee and UFO researcher.
The CIA classified it for more than 50 years before releasing parts of it in 2013, according to Ziare.
Thomas claims that every 6,500 years, Earth goes through a catastrophic event similar to the biblical Great Flood.
He argues that the last disaster of this scale happened around 6,500 years ago, and based on this cycle, another one is approaching.
Thomas suggests that Earth's magnetic field will shift suddenly, leading to massive destruction.
He describes mountains shaking, tsunamis wiping out cities, and earthquakes tearing the planet apart.
According to him, entire continents will be reshaped, and places like California will be submerged. He predicts that civilization will vanish in hours, leaving behind only ruins.
The CIA’s decision to keep the book secret for so long has led to much speculation.
Some believe the agency was concerned it could cause widespread fear, while others think it contained information linked to undisclosed government research.
Thomas had ties to classified aerospace projects and was reportedly involved in studying unidentified flying objects.
Scientists strongly dispute his claims.
NASA researchers state that while Earth’s magnetic poles do shift, the process happens slowly and does not cause destruction.
Experts also point out that if such disasters occurred every 6,500 years, there would be clear geological evidence.
