Donald Trump has labeled Joe Biden as an "insurrectionist" following a historic ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court that disqualified Trump from running for president in the state.
This decision was based on Trump's actions during the January 6 riot, citing a violation of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which bars individuals who engaged in insurrection from holding office.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump suggested that Biden may have violated the Constitution's insurrection clause. He criticized Biden for various issues, including illegal immigration at the southern border, the weaponization of the FBI and Department of Justice against Republicans, and the controversial withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021.

Trump's attack came in response to the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling, which he plans to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. He has long claimed that the legal battles he faces, including four criminal cases with 91 charges, are politically motivated "witch hunts" aimed at preventing his 2024 election victory.
Following the Colorado court's decision, there have been calls among Republican figures to retaliate by removing Biden from ballots in other states.
Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick suggested withdrawing Biden from Texas's 2024 ballot for allowing a large number of people to cross the border, which he claims has significantly disrupted Texas.
Trump's response to the ruling and his accusations against Biden highlight the ongoing political tensions and the complexities of legal challenges in the current political landscape.
