The parents of two-year-old Emile have been living in a state of uncertainty since their son disappeared over two months ago.
In a recent Facebook post shared last Thursday, they expressed their gratitude for the support they've received during this agonizing period.

"Thank you for all your prayers, as they carry us through this painful waiting time," they wrote.
In the midst of their sorrow, Emile's parents, Colomban and Marie, have also had to contend with distressing rumors related to their son's disappearance.
These rumors have even touched upon their faith, adding another layer of anguish to an already devastating situation.
The disappearance
Emile went missing on the afternoon of July 8 while playing in his grandparents' garden in Haut-Vernet, located in the French Alps.
He had just arrived in the mountain village to spend his vacation. Police are investigating multiple angles, including kidnapping, unlawful detention, and even murder as probable theories.
Last month, more than 800 volunteers participated in the search for Emile.
The police even attempted to capture the young boy's attention by playing a recording of his mother's voice from a helicopter flying over the area.
