Tyler Christopher had a long-standing career in television, most notably in soap operas. He played the role of Nikolas Cassadine in "General Hospital" from 1996 to 2016 and Stefan DiMera in "Days of Our Lives" from 2018 to 2019.

He was married to Eva Longoria in 2002, but the couple divorced two years later.
In 2008, he married ESPN journalist Brienne Pedigo, with whom he had two children. However, they separated in 2019.
In recent years, Christopher struggled with alcohol issues.
In 2022, Tyler Christopher revealed that he had been close to losing his life multiple times due to alcohol-related problems.
He mentioned that his heart had stopped three times but was revived each time. Unfortunately, this time his heart could not be restarted.
