The Italian police have initiated a murder investigation following a collision involving a Lamborghini and a Ferrari with a motorhome.
Currently, they are examining whether Indian billionaire Vikas Oberoi can be charged with the murder of a couple in a Ferrari. Oberoi was driving the Lamborghini Huracan that collided with a motorhome on the island of Sardinia earlier this month.
The collision occurred after several cars had overtaken the slower motorhome, and eventually, it went wrong when Oberoi pulled out in a red Ferrari Portofino. The Telegraph reported this incident. In the Ferrari was a Swiss couple who unfortunately did not survive as the car rolled over and caught fire.
The chief prosecutor of the Italian police, Giangiacomo Pilia, is now investigating whether Oberoi can be charged with double murder.
The couple in the motorhome survived the accident but did not escape unscathed, as the collision also caused their vehicle to flip over.
