In the early hours of October 29, Kyiv endured its 18th drone attack since the beginning of the month, as Russian armed forces intensified strikes on Ukraine’s capital.
According to Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA), the drone attack triggered two air alerts and lasted over four hours.
Debris has been reported in the Solomyansky and Svyatoshynsky districts.
In Solomyansky, drone debris fell near a residential building, damaging a gas pipe and causing a fire in a nearby shop. Three parked cars also caught fire, though emergency crews managed to extinguish the flames.
Five individuals sought medical attention, and one person required hospitalization.
In Svyatoshynsky, drone debris broke windows of a three-story administrative building. While no injuries were reported in this district, authorities continue to assess the damage.
"The eighteenth air attack of the armed forces of the Russian Federation on Kyiv since the beginning of October! The enemy does not plan to reduce the intensity of the terror of the peaceful city," Popko reported on Telegram.
