Ever since the two were spotted together in Madrid, even the smallest rumors are being reported in the Spanish media.
Now, media outlets such as La Vanguardia and 20minutos have managed to contact Casanova's ex-husband, who is speaking out for the first time.
Cayetano Martínez de Irujo, who divorced Casanova in 2007 and is the father of their two children, has called the stories about his ex-wife and Crown Prince Frederik foolish, according to 20minutes.
The newspaper also writes that he unconditionally supports his ex-wife.
Casanova herself has previously stated that she and Crown Prince Frederik are merely friends.
She made this statement to the Spanish media outlet Lecturas, which also published pictures of the two together.
