Hamas has issued a call for a day of "roaring anger" to honor its political leader, urging demonstrations in response to ongoing events in the Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera reports that the group has urged people to gather for prayers after Friday services in mosques as a way to pay tribute to the “blood of the martyrs.”

In their statement, Hamas encouraged the public "to launch marches of roaring anger from every mosque, denouncing the ongoing war and genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip."

Later today, Qatar is set to hold significant events in solidarity with the situation in Gaza.

The ongoing conflict has heightened tensions and is expected to lead to widespread protests and unrest in the region.
