Heavy Shelling and Drone Attacks Hit Nikopol District

On the evening of July 21, Russian forces attacked the Nikopol district in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region using heavy artillery and kamikaze drones.

Multiple Attacks

The Nikopol district in the Dnipropetrovsk region faced another wave of shelling by Russian troops on July 21.

The head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported the attacks on Facebook.

"The enemy attacked Nikopolshchyna several more times in the evening. With heavy artillery, they hit the Marganets community. Kamikaze drones struck Pokrovska and Nikopol," Lysak stated.

The shelling caused damage to private homes, but there were no reported injuries.

Lysak provided an update on the previous day's attacks, stating that the Chervonogrihorivska community suffered damage to 13 country houses, a car, and a power line due to the shelling.

On July 21, Russian forces also shelled Nikopol and four other communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in injuries to an 89-year-old woman.
