In just a few minutes, more than 5,000 reports have been received from users stating that they are experiencing issues with Instagram. 62% report problems with the Instagram app, 24% report issues with the Instagram feed, while the remaining 14% are having trouble logging into Instagram.
Looking at the map of where the problems are being reported, it's clear that they are widespread across the country, but it's particularly in New York and Nebraska where the most users are experiencing issues.

According to Downdetector, it's not only in the USA that people are having trouble with Instagram. Users from countries around the world are reporting issues, suggesting that this might be a larger problem.
