According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), they have killed Asem Abu Rakaba, the leader of Hamas' air force, who was involved in planning the attack on October 7.

The IDF made this claim on social media, stating that Abu Rakaba was responsible for Hamas' drones, paragliders, air surveillance, and defense.

This is reported by Zee News.

He was also part of the planning for the October 7 massacre and commanded the terrorists who infiltrated Israel using paragliders and were responsible for drone attacks on IDF posts.

Hamas' surprise attack on Israel on October 7 reportedly killed at least 1,400 people and took over 200 hostages back to the Gaza Strip.

In response, Israel has carried out extensive bombings in Gaza, with Palestinian authorities reporting at least 7,000 deaths as a result.

Israel announced plans to escalate the ground war in Gaza, where several independent organizations have warned of a humanitarian crisis.
