Kim Yo Jong, Deputy Head of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and sister to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, labeled South Korea and Ukraine as "badly behaved dogs raised by the United States."

The remark was made through North Korean state media, KCNA.

She accused both nations of recklessly provoking nuclear powers and warned of potentially "enormous and fatal consequences."

Kim Yo Jong stated, "Seoul and Kyiv are very similar, begging for help and recklessly throwing nonsensical rhetoric against nuclear countries... This is a common characteristic of the badly behaved dogs raised by the United States."

According to United24 Media, South Korea is reportedly considering sending military personnel and intelligence officers to Ukraine in response to North Korea’s alleged support for Russia.

According to South Korean media reports, about 1,500 North Korean soldiers are currently being trained in eastern Russia. There are also plans to deploy up to 12,000 troops, including special forces, to aid Russia’s war effort in Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy cited intelligence reports suggesting North Korea's involvement in the conflict. This followed reports that more than 20 soldiers, including six North Korean officers, were killed in a missile strike near Donetsk on October 3.
