Friday evening local time in Moscow was anything but peaceful.
Around 08:00 PM local time, shots were suddenly fired by at least four men in camouflage attire. At least 40 people are reported killed in the horrific attack, during which the large building was set on fire, and significant parts of the roof have already collapsed.
Who is behind the dreadful attack is still unknown, but slowly, the first reports have emerged regarding what is being sought.
At this moment, the Russian authorities have issued a statement that they are looking for a white Renault Fluence with a dark roof, last seen leaving the Crocus Concert Hall area in Moscow around 9:00 PM, with individuals in camouflage aboard.
The vehicle had Tver Region license plates, but the numbers could be fake.
This is the car.
The authorities have asked the local population to keep an eye out for the vehicle but also advise citizens to stay far away from it, as there may be several armed men inside the car.
Several social media posts show how a person is being detained by the police. These videos suggest that one of the shooters has been detained. However, this has not been confirmed by official sources, and it is therefore unknown if the detainee was connected to the shooting.
