Taylor Swift is set to return to the stage in London this Thursday, resuming her Eras Tour after a terror threat forced the cancellation of her Vienna shows last week.

Implements Increased Safety Measures

The highly anticipated concerts will span five nights, from August 15 to 20, marking the end of her European tour.

Following her June performances at Wembley, Swift’s return to London has generated tremendous excitement among fans. However, the recent security concerns have prompted British authorities to implement increased safety measures.

This comes after Austrian police thwarted a potential terror attack in Vienna, where two individuals were arrested for allegedly plotting to drive a car into crowds of fans outside the concert venue.

Not Allowed to Gather Outside

Despite the alarming incident, London’s Metropolitan Police have assured the public that the five shows at Wembley Stadium will proceed as planned. However, they have introduced stricter restrictions compared to other European venues.

According to Wembley Stadium’s official website, fans without tickets will be prohibited from congregating near the entrance or stairways, and those attempting to gather outside the stadium will be escorted away. Additionally, the popular tradition of wearing friendship bracelets will be banned for these concerts.

Swift’s fans, known for their passionate enthusiasm, often gather outside venues to exchange bracelets and listen to her performances without tickets, as seen recently in Madrid. But this time, the emphasis is on maintaining order and security.
