Mitchel Musso, who gained fame over a decade ago on the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana," found himself in legal trouble this past weekend.
According to Rockwall police reports, Musso was arrested on Saturday evening for public intoxication and petty theft, following an incident at a local hotel.
Around 7:15 p.m., Musso entered the hotel and allegedly began consuming a bag of chips without making a payment.
When hotel staff confronted the actor, who appeared to be under the influence, he reportedly responded with verbal abuse and left the premises without settling the bill, as per the Dallas Morning News.
Police officers arrived at the scene and located Musso outside the hotel, where he exhibited signs of intoxication.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with public intoxication and theft of an item valued under $100.
Upon his arrest, authorities also found that Musso had multiple outstanding traffic warrants.
He was held overnight at the Rockwall County Detention Center and was released on Sunday afternoon after posting bail.
A mugshot released by the authorities showed a disheartened Musso with a towel draped over his chest, as reported by KIRO 7.
Musso, a native of Garland, Texas, is best known for his role as Oliver Oken on "Hannah Montana," where he acted alongside Miley Cyrus.
He appeared in nearly 90 episodes of the show, according to his IMDb profile, and has also been featured in other shows, including another Disney production, "Pair of Kings."
