North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ordered the mass production of kamikaze attack drones after personally inspecting their successful tests at local factories.
This was reported by the North Korean state news agency KCNA.
During the tests, the drones flew along planned routes and hit their targets with precision. KCNA reported that the North Korean leader was pleased with the results and called for the drones to be quickly mass-produced.
Kim also stated that North Korea has the resources and technology to produce a variety of drones and plans to keep improving them to meet the demands of modern warfare.
In the past year, North Korea has sent millions of artillery shells, dozens of ballistic missiles, and other weapons to Russia to support its war in Ukraine.
Reports also claim that at least 12,000 North Korean soldiers have secretly joined Russian forces on the battlefield.
According to Ukrinform, the European Union is working with its partners to respond to North Korea's involvement in Russia's war and has called for the immediate withdrawal of North Korean troops from Russian territory.
