Ukraine is not willing to compromise with Russia or give up any territory to end the war, stated Andriy Yermak, the head of the President's Office.

According to Reuters, this was his response to US presidential candidate Donald Trump's claim that he could quickly resolve the conflict.

During his visit to Washington, Yermak told reporters that while Ukraine is open to advice for achieving a "just peace," it will not compromise on core values like independence, freedom, democracy, territorial integrity, and sovereignty.

When asked about Trump's statement on handling the war, Yermak said, "Honestly, I don't know. We'll wait and see."

Yermak also said Ukraine aims to maintain support from the new US administration, mentioning bipartisan backing and support from the American people.

It was also reported that two key advisers to Donald Trump had presented him with a plan to end Russia's war in Ukraine.

Trump criticized his opponent Joe Biden for promising Ukraine the possibility of NATO membership, arguing that such promises should not have been made.
