One of the key arguments that Putin brought in support of his decision is the complexity and unpredictability of the modern international political climate.
According to Putin, Russia faces challenges and threats on the world stage, and he believes that his experience and leadership are necessary to ensure stability and protect the country's interests.
He also noted that at different times, he had various thoughts on this matter. This indicates that Putin carefully weighed his options and took public opinion into account.
"At different times, I had different thoughts on this matter. However, understanding the current situation, I came to the conclusion that it cannot be significantly different," Putin stated during a conversation with the Heroes of the Fatherland according to UralDaily.
However, despite widespread support, there are critics who express concerns about Putin's longevity in the presidential post.
They believe that this could hinder political diversity and disrupt democratic processes in the country. Nevertheless, Putin's supporters claim that his leadership has been successful and contributed to the stability and prosperity of Russia.
According to the latest survey by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM), 78.5% of the country's citizens expressed their trust in Russian President Vladimir Putin. His activities are approved by 75.8% of respondents.
The center presented the corresponding data on its official website.
