During a plenary session at the AI Journey conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed he is the father of two or more children.

This revelation came as Putin raised his hand in response to a question posed to the audience. The question posed was, "Who has two or more children?" and in response, the Russian President chose to raise his hand. This is reported by News.ru.

Official information indicates that the Russian leader has two children. Media speculation suggests these children are Maria Vorontsova, a leading scientific researcher at the National Medical Research Center for Endocrinology of the Ministry of Health of Russia, and Ekaterina Tikhonova, deputy director of the Institute for Mathematical Research of Complex Systems at Moscow State University.

In addition to discussing his personal life, Putin addressed the conference on the imminent approval of a new version of Russia's artificial intelligence (AI) development strategy.

He emphasized significant amendments to the document, aiming to specify the goals and tasks of the industry. The approval of this strategy marks a step towards more active AI development in Russia.

Putin also commented on the digital space, highlighting Western attempts to "cancel" Russia. He noted that Western AI algorithms, developed in the EU and the USA, could instruct search engines to ignore Russia's existence.

Stressing the danger and inadmissibility of Western AI technology monopolies in Russia, Putin advocated for the involvement of domestic specialists to develop reliable and safe technologies in this field.
