Cristiano Ronaldo has recently launched his own YouTube channel, and the soccer superstar is already making waves online.
Diving in Head First
In one of his first videos, Ronaldo appears alongside his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, as the couple takes on a “relationship test” to see how well they know each other, according to Digi24.
During the video, Ronaldo affectionately referred to Rodriguez as his “wife,” sparking a flurry of attention on social media.
Ronaldo, who has been with Rodriguez for eight years, isn’t just dipping his toes into YouTube — he’s diving in headfirst with ambitious goals.
The Portuguese star revealed that he aims to become the most followed personality on the platform, surpassing current YouTube king MrBeast, who boasts an impressive 313 million subscribers.
Record Breaking Start
Ronaldo’s channel is off to a record-breaking start. Within just 12 hours of its launch, it attracted 10 million followers, a milestone that took MrBeast 132 days to reach.
As of September 2, 2024, Ronaldo’s subscriber count has skyrocketed to 55.8 million, bringing him close to other global superstars like Taylor Swift, who has 59 million, and Justin Bieber, with 73 million.
“My kids joke that I’ve become a YouTuber, but my goal is to connect with my fans as much as possible. And yes, I want to beat MrBeast!” Ronaldo told Marca.
Ronaldo’s personal life also continues to capture public interest. He and Rodriguez share two daughters, while Ronaldo has three other children through surrogacy.
Before his relationship with Rodriguez, Ronaldo was briefly linked to American TV host and actress Alyson Eckmann, who has since transitioned to a career on an adult content platform.
