In recent years, the British Royal Family has encountered its fair share of public scrutiny and drama, notably involving figures such as Harry and Meghan. However, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the spotlight has intensely focused on King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has been conspicuously absent from the public eye since January due to a reported stomach surgery. This absence has fueled widespread speculation and rumors, amplified by the Royal Family's distribution of a photoshopped image featuring Middleton with her children. Such actions have only served to intensify public curiosity and concern regarding her well-being.

Amidst this environment of speculation, further unfounded rumors have emerged concerning the health and status of King Charles. Notably, hashtags like 'Royal Announcement' and 'King Charles' have surged in popularity today on Twitter, driven by baseless claims of the King's death from prostate cancer.

These rumors have been propagated by various accounts, including some with 'verified' blue badges, leading to widespread dissemination and confusion among the public.

However, the rumors quickly gained traction, and a search on Twitter for King Charles brings up thousands of posts from users in various countries either questioning the news or mourning a death that has not occurred.

Hoaxes about the deaths of celebrities occur regularly, and we seldom report on them. In this case, however, we felt it necessary to quash the rumors, as this particular rumor has spread far wider and much more quickly than usual.
