On October 3, a Russian drone strike in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region killed at least three people, including a 6-year-old child, and injured four others, two of them children.

According to Viacheslav Chaus, the Head of the Chernihiv Region Military Administration, the attack deliberately targeted a car carrying liquefied gas in the Koriukivka district. The explosion caused by the gas cylinders igniting led to nearby residential buildings catching fire.

“This is a terrible act of terrorism,” Chaus wrote on Telegram. “The enemy deliberately struck the vehicle with a drone.”

Among the injured are a 4-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, and two men, all of whom were taken to the hospital for treatment.
