Russian shelling in the Kherson region has resulted in civilian casualties as residential areas and infrastructure continue to be targeted.

In yesterday's attack, a civilian was killed and six others were injured in the shelling, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional state administration.

Prokudin shared the news on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.

The affected areas included Komyshany, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Dniprovske, Veletenske, Mykhailivka, Stanislav, Romashkovo, Ingulets, Tyaginka, Sadov, Urozhyne, Havrylivka, and Kherson.

These locations came under enemy fire and airstrikes from the Russian military, targeting residential quarters.

The shelling damaged three high-rise buildings, 17 private houses, gas pipelines, warehouses, commercial buildings, and private cars.

"Due to Russian aggression, one person died, and six others were injured," Prokudin noted.

In a specific incident in the village of Romashkovo, Russian forces dropped explosives from a drone, injuring a 63-year-old woman.
