Popular Russian comedian Rasul Chabdarov recently visited the United States and shared his thoughts on the country in the podcast "Authoritative Opinion," available on YouTube.

Chabdarov expressed mixed feelings about his time in the U.S., saying, "There are many good things, many strange things, and many bad things, really." He specifically pointed out the cleanliness issues and the significant number of homeless people, particularly in Los Angeles, even near expensive hotels.

Cultural Comparisons

Chabdarov also compared the mentalities of Russians and Americans. He noted that Americans highly value financial success, which differs from Russian attitudes.

"They really like it when you have money. They admire that you have money, unlike us. The mentality is different because the country developed differently. People went there to make money, so when you have success, it is considered cool," Chabdarov explained.

Earnings Disparities for Comedians

In late 2023, comedian Alexander Nezlobin highlighted the difference in earnings between comedians in Russia and the U.S. Nezlobin asserted that beginner comedians in Russia earn more than their counterparts in America.

This observation underscores the varying economic landscapes and opportunities for comedians in the two countries.
