On September 19, Russian forces launched an artillery attack on the city of Kherson, Ukraine.
A trolleybus was caught in the crossfire, resulting in the death of a 49-year-old police sergeant.
The information was confirmed by the National Police and the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, via Telegram.

According to Prokudin, two male passengers, aged 33 and 57, were also severely injured during the attack.
They have been hospitalized and are currently receiving medical treatment.
The artillery strike severely damaged the trolleybus, which had passengers on board at the time.
In a related incident, a warehouse building caught fire due to the artillery hit.
Rescue teams are currently working to extinguish the blaze, which has spread over an area of approximately 1000 square meters.
