Igor Kirillov, the head of Russia's radiation, chemical, and biological protection troops, has leveled a serious accusation against Ukraine, claiming that the country is planning to stage a series of false flag operations using biological weapons.

This information comes from Tass, a Russian state-run media outlet.

Kirillov alleges that Ukraine is preparing to cause an outbreak of "highly pathogenic avian influenza, which is extremely deadly to humans."

He claims that following the outbreak, Ukraine and Western media outlets will place the blame squarely on Russia.

The basis for these accusations, according to Kirillov, is a training exercise that took place in Lviv in August and September, where preparations were supposedly made for a response to biological threats.

He argues that the ultimate goal of these operations is to discredit Russia and implement additional sanctions against the country.

It is important to note that TV 2 has not been able to verify this information. These allegations are part of a broader landscape of tense relations and mutual distrust between Russia and Ukraine, further exacerbated by the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine.

Accusations involving biological weapons are particularly sensitive and have the potential to escalate tensions, necessitating a careful and thorough investigation to ascertain the truth.

International authorities and experts on biological warfare will likely scrutinize these claims closely, as the use of biological weapons constitutes a grave violation of international law.

Transparency, verification, and open dialogue between nations are crucial in addressing such serious allegations and ensuring global security.
