A Ukrainian drone reportedly struck an oil depot in the town of Svetlograd, Stavropol Krai, Russia, overnight on November 1.

This was reported by the regional Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, as cited by the Kyiv Independent.

Russian air defenses reportedly intercepted 36 drones over Kursk Oblast, 20 over Bryansk, 12 over occupied Crimea, eight over Voronezh, four over Oryol, and three over Belgorod.

A video posted by the Russian Baza Telegram channel appears to show a drone explosion at the Svetlograd depot, though no casualties or damage have been reported.

Emergency services are currently on-site, Vladimirov stated.

Svetlograd, a town of about 35,000 people, is located over 600 kilometers (372 miles) southeast of Ukraine’s Donetsk region border.

In a separate incident, Bryansk Oblast Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported that a drone struck an apartment building in Bryansk, injuring one person. Kyiv has not commented on these reports, which remain unverified.

Recently, Ukrainian forces have ramped up drone strikes targeting Russia’s oil infrastructure, aiming to disrupt a key revenue source for Moscow’s war efforts.

On October 31, a Ukrainian drone reportedly struck an oil refinery in Ufa, Bashkortostan Republic, located roughly 1,500 kilometers from Ukraine's border.
